Quarterbound in brown cloth over marbled boards, gilt titles on black panels to spines. xl+1064pp. maps to end papers. Slight shelf and edge wear to boards, and slight fading, especially to vol.1 ; spines and corners rather bumped and rubbed. Vol.1 has dark stain to bottom left of lower board and margins of last few pages. All vols. have slight foxing to text block edges, top edge trimmed, other edges uncut, some unopened.
