Cover worn, creased and chipped around edges. Contemporary oval rubber stamp on lower left edge of front free endpaper ("Loomis' Temple of Music, New Haven, CT. [etc.]."). The flageolet is a small woodwind instrument with four finger holes on top and two thumb holes below. Probably uncommon.
