The S-BPM ONE contributions focus on challenges arising from the evolution of service-oriented architectures and the need for more flexible business organizations. The latter require coherent and adaptive representation and processing techniques for business process modeling and execution. Corresponding technologies have to be grounded in theories of computer science, in order to provide an adequate infrastr- ture for thorough BPM including technology-enhanced change management.
