A volume containing five pamphlets. 18 cm. pagination various. Half leather and marbled boards. Joints and spine worn, front joint starting, spine label lacking. Bookplate of J[ohn] H[enry] Loft of Cainby Hall on front pastedown. Ink list of the pamphlets on front endpaper. Loft's signature, a bit trimmed, at the head of the title page of the second pamphlet. The group includes: 1) Shiercliff, E. THE BRISTOL AND HOTWELL GUIDE: containing an historical account of the ancient and present state of that opulent city ; also of the Hotwell ; the nature, properties and effects of its medicinal water.
