Thirty-five 3.5" x 5" snapshots of Sandy West (1959-2006), founding member of the1970s, all female rock band, The Runaways. The Runaways were active as a band from 1975-1979, and these photos are from just after that time, when West was trying to continue her career , playing with other acts in Southern California and fronting the Sandy West Band. Photos show West on stage and off with many of her band-mates and friends. There are snaps from the Whiskey-a-Go-Go on the Sunset Strip, including a backstage photo of West with fellow Runaways Lita Ford and Jackie Fox, a shot of the marquee with Sandy West at the bop of the bill. Twenty-six photos are in color and the other 8 are in black and white. They come with their original photo envelop and they are in good condition.
