Library stamps and residual ink spots on foredges; no other library markings present. Text clean and binding tight. Bound volume containing almost all weekly issues from July-December 1921 of Science Magazine, the academic journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. LACKS No.1403 from November 18th, 1921. The journal was founded with support from renowned scientists Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell. This volume includes "The Significance of Radium" (with reference to Marie Curie) by Nobel laureate R.A. Millikan, installments of a report from the American Chemical Society by Charles L. Parsons, "Some Problems in Evolution by Professor Edwin S. Goodrich, and "Research in Eugenics" by the notorious Dr. Charles B. Davenport who lobbied against immigration of "inferior races" to the United States, collaborated with Nazis on their eugenics policies, and conducted pseudoscientific studies on miscegenation in Jamaica.
