Kelly Ang is a writer by night, and a mom to four young kids by day. She loves her coffee a little bit too much, but because of this ― maintains a healthy curiosity about the world around her in spite of sleeping for fewer hours a night than the fingers on one hand. She reads voraciously when she is not writing or getting something for one of her kids. Thanks to her children, she also knows many random things about space, cars and Disney princesses, and now, robots!

Kei Fujimura is a microbial ecologist who is interested in how communities of microbes relate to their host. Her past research studied how fungi in plant roots in the high arctic and the gut microbiome may be related to allergy and asthma development in children. Kei has now switched gears and is working for the Prenatal Screening program at the California Department of Public Health. She is happiest when she spends time with her family.
