12mo. Pp: 272. Pictorial dust jacket with white titles at the front and spine. Leather effect covered boards in brown, with black titles at spine. This book was originally published serially under the title "The Avenging Texans". Book Club Edition. The basis for the 1956 John Ford film "The Searchers", starring John Wayne. Very good minus in good jacket. Lean to spine. Marks to the front board as well as chips to the corners and spine. Dust jacket's spine sunned. Front of jacket has scratches and chips. Small 1.5cm tear to the jacket at back top edge. An area (12 x 8cms) to the reverse of jacket is stained. Seller Inventory # C70397
