paperback, 68pp, plus 3pp map and diagrams, 12pp half tone photo ills. (4 blank), , side stapled card wrappers printed in two colours, issued by the Naval Intelligence Division, Naval Staff, Admiralty, for the information of all officers in H. M. Navy, by hand of named officer only, this is issue Number 258 dated 16th February, 1945, reports on recent action:convoy JW64 to Russia, separate actions against midget submarines by HMS Cowdray with two survivors recovered and by HMS Tudno in company with ML915, ML221, BYMS 2015, BYMS 2188, ML256 and ML251, one survivor recovered, summaries and tables of action on the West Front and by Allied air forces, an image of a schnorkel is use and reports on sightings by Canadian Sunderlands, Naval actions in the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Malacca, etc, rubbed at extrems., staples rusty with some adjacent staining, short tears to wrappers at staples but staples holding, light creasing lower wrapper, good.
