SECRETS II

Eight years after escaping the chaos of Annabel Hayes, Gina and Neil Adams finally have the peace they once fought so hard to protect-until a single phone call shatters everything.

Annabel is out.

Diane wants back in.

And vengeance has been waiting.

When their son, Teddy, disappears, the quiet coastal town of Weymouth becomes the centre of a desperate search - drawing in friends, family, strangers, and even a famous actress, determined to help. As old secrets surface and new dangers emerge, alliances are tested, loyalties crack, and the line between love and obsession blurs into something deadly.

Across hospital wards, hotel corridors, prison cells, and courtroom steps, lives are torn apart and rebuilt. But some scars run too deep... and some enemies won't stay buried.

In this gripping, heart-stopping sequel to Secrets, one thing is clear:

When the past returns, it doesn't knock-it breaks the door down.

Kay Louise Bowen retired from being a tutor after many years when she found a book on her computer that she never knew her mother had started and decided to embark on finishing it.

Kay had never written before but soon found that she loved getting into the characters and scenes and discovered that she could write for hours at a time without realising the passing time.

Secrets II: Vengeance and Revenge is her second book after publishing her debut novel, Secrets, in August 2025.

Secrets lays the foundation for Secrets II: Vengeance and Revenge, and she hopes you enjoy them as much as she has enjoyed creating them.

I completed the book that my late mother started, she says.
