The title is a reference to Noah's ark and God's commandment to build a skylight, or hatch, in the ark. Solomon ben Judah Hanau (1687-1746) , also known as Raza"h, is best known for his critical work on Hebrew grammar and Jewish liturgy. In the work for sale here, Hanau offers corrections to contemporary nussach based on an analysis of grammar from the Torah.
