Katia Cayrol est n�e en 1976. Elle a grandi dans un petit village de l'H�rault, Montbazin, avec ses parents et son grand fr�re puis la famille a d�m�nag� dans la r�gion Varoise en 1986. Son coeur et ses racines appartiennent au pays du soleil, de la mer et des cigales. L'�criture tient depuis son enfance une place tr�s importante. Une voix interne la r�veillait la nuit afin de coucher des mots formant des chansons sur des pages blanches. Et si... est son tout premier roman, qu'elle a termin� d'achever apr�s le d�c�s de sa m�re d'un cancer g�n�ralis�. Il s'est impos� � elle comme une urgence vitale. Plusieurs causes sont pour elle importantes : la lutte contre le cancer, la d�fense des droits LGBTQ et la protection des animaux. C'est pourquoi elle a d�cid� de reverser une partie des b�n�fices du livre � deux associations luttant pour ces causes.
