LETS SIGN FOR WORK

This is the 2nd edition of this book. The work has been fully REVISED & ENLARGED (2007) with 294 completely new British Sign Language (BSL) sign illustrations to appeal to adults and young people.

The book is in large print and clearly illustrated with well-chosen signs, descriptions, communication advice, and useful background.

Suitable for those whose work may bring them into contact with Deaf people.

BSL also forms the basis of sign systems such as Makaton and Signalong used in the field of special needs/learning disability/autism who may also find this book useful.

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requires those providing services to take positive steps to improve access - this includes access to information, interpreting services and communication with agency staff - this book is designed to assist such access and communication.
