SIMPLY THE BEST: It may be simple, it's never easy (The Dale Hunter Thriller Series)

The Dale Hunter Crime Thriller Novels are an explosive mix of crime, cash and computers in the 1980s. Entrepreneurs face challenges every day. It’s hard to be a hero. This young entrepreneur is under threats of violence from gangsters in the Montreal Mafia while also fighting against crooked business associates. He wants to survive and not play by gangster rules. SIMPLY THE BEST is the second novel in the series. Dale Hunter is back in business, but so is Gino Boncanno. Hunter has already had to save himself from a murder attempt by the gangster, Boncanno. Now his new partner in Taiwan is dragging him into business with the Triads and their smuggling scheme into the U.S. The danger escalates and Hunter still has to save his family from the murderous plans of Boncanno. Hunter’s escape may seem simple, but it’s never easy.

HIGH PRAISE FOR THE DALE HUNTER SERIES:
“Chatterson’s language conveys mayhem with a brevity that practically demands attention. Action sequences are rapid fire and corrosive and are offset by threatening undertones in NO EASY MONEY. Chatterson pens crime drama that is as fast-paced and involved as the archetypal L.A. potboiler and deftly leaves open the possibilities for his characters to continue their stories.”

READER REVIEWS OF NO EASY MONEY
“I liked it a lot! And I was there, in the computer business of the 1980s. I loved the interaction with organised crime in Montreal and the protection racket. I’m telling all my friends and I bought two more copies for my sons for Christmas. Bravo Del, very impressive!”
Gilles Gaudet (Montreal, Canada)

“Very enjoyable read. I enjoyed the book and all the characters around a business enterprise, a real business challenge that leads an Entrepreneur down a road he shouldn’t go, but does! Waiting not so patiently for the next one.”  Chris Murray – Amazon.ca Review – 5 Stars –

“Welcome to the ’80s Business World. I love how the story flowed and how the intensity continued to increase, keeping you reading through to the very end. This story takes you back into the thick of the 1980s business world and all of the difficulties that came with it. Dale is a smart and talented businessman with a company growing
almost faster than he can handle. However, this growth and success draw him deeper and deeper into a nightmare, from being forced to buy protection to working with a loan shark. There’s extortion, coercion, and backroom deals that made this story exciting. Mobsters, dirty cops, and even dirtier businessmen keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end, making for an intense and exciting read. Enjoy the ride! It’s a fast one!”
