A SINGLE LEAF from the following title: Philaster: A Tragedy, as Altered from Beaumont and Fletcher - Adapted for Theatrical Representation, as Performed at the Theatres-Royal, Drury-Lane and Covent-Garden. The alterations were by George Colman. Printed in London in 1791 (MDCCXCI) for the proprietors, under the direction of John Bell, British Library, Strand, Bookseller to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This being PAGE 21/22. Contains text in English printed in single column. With printed margin line numbers. Single page, printed on both sides, recto & verso. In VERY GOOD condition with wear to inner margin, mild foxing. A digital image of the title page of the original antiquarian book which this particular page came from will also be provided with purchase. An example of letterpress printing. Uncommon. SB-1.
