A report consisting of the usual financial, administrative and other actions of the Indian Rights Association, although also containing a lengthy section discussing one member's trip to various Native American Indian tribes and reservations in the West. This includes the Yankton Indians in the Dakota area, and the Navajo, Moqui and Apache tribes of New Mexico and Arizona. The author describes conditions and issues at the reservations, as well as potential solutions. While the association appears to have Native American interests in mind, its statement on the inside rear cover where it asserts the breaking up of tribal organization is the remedy of 'savagery' seems to run counter to its stated mission.
