About the Authors

Noah Charney is an American art historian and internationally bestselling author of fiction (The Art Thief) and nonfiction (The Art of Forgery: The Minds, Motives and Methods of Master Forgers, The Collector of Lives: Giorgio Vasari and the Invention of Art, and The Museum of Lost Art). Charney lives in Slovenia.

Svetlana Slapšak is a leading specialist in Balkan studies and award-winning essayist who has published more than eighty books. She is a winner of the American PEN/Barbara Goldsmith Freedom to Write Award and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Slapšak lives in Slovenia.
