Navy blue hard covers with gold lettering on spine exhibit very light bumping on corners and light soiling on front cover. Crease running the length of the spine. Text is clean and unmarked including the fold out illustration of a slide rule. Hinges are tight. DJ is in a protective mylar cover with light soiling and shelf wear on the covers and the back cover front edge. There is a small circular stain on the upper edge of the front cover where a price sticker use to be. An introduction to the slide rule, with special reference to Navigation, both at sea and in the air, and problems encountered in cargo working and other ship and aircraft handling."
