SOCIAL DYNAMICS OF INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT

The idea of development has largely eluded clear definition, requiring a multi-faceted approach that encompasses economic, political, psychological, cultural, sociological, and environmental aspects. Consequently, numerous theories have emerged, each offering a piece of the puzzle but none providing a complete understanding. Many, particularly in developing nations, face marginalization and exclusion, suffering discrimination, exploitation, and oppression. To integrate these individuals into society, the concept of 'inclusive development' was proposed by civil society, with governments implementing affirmative measures for empowerment. However, achieving inclusive development is not a straightforward process; it's a complex journey with setbacks and progress towards social change.
