This wonderful period hardback book is bound in a deep, dark, rich navy blue coloured cloth, with decorative art nouveau design and gilt titles on both the spine and front board. Its in good condition, despite small tear to cloth on the top edge of spine (please see photos). Normal wear marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. No specific published date, probably early 20th century. 16 x stunning coloured plates, plus numerous black and white illustration all executed brilliantly by W. Heath Robinson. 123 pages all intact and in nice clean, readable order.
