Menu card for a luncheon held in honour of the 1949 South African rugby team that inflicted a 4-0 white wash on the touring New Zealand All Blacks. Held to mark the 50th anniversary in 1999. Signed nicely inside in ink by at least 18 South African rugby players and staff, including three of the 1949 team - Ryk Van Schoor, Bubbles Koch and Cecil Moss. Also signed by Stephen Fry, James Starke, Johan Claassen, Gert Smal, Keith Andrews (twice), Carel du Plessis, Peter Whipp, Theuns Stofberg, Hempies du Toit, Danie Gerber (possibly?), somebody Carolin (?) and a few others. 30 x 11cm. Single folded card. Very good condition.
