SPANISH THAT WORKS FOR YOU

Spanish that Works for You: A Creative, Functional Approach to Basic Communication in Spanish

Looking for an easy and enjoyable way to learn Spanish for practical purposes?

Spanish that Works(TM) is a non-traditional and highly effective course that empowers you to speak standard Latin American or Mexican Spanish right away with friends, customers, employees, or while traveling. You can use the course for staff training, workshops, conversation classes, or to learn on your own.

It's practical. You will not conjugate verbs or practice reading. Instead, you will master the key words, expressions, and constructions necessary to actively participate in fast-paced conversation. You will be able to make polite requests, interact with others socially, and provide or receive basic customer service.

It's different. The unique pronunciation guide trains American English speakers to speak and understand Spanish. Easy dialogues and exercises encourage creative expression and build fluency. Vocabulary and grammar are simplified. Real-life communication makes learning meaningful and fun.

It works. Libraries, schools, businesses, community groups and individuals across the United States use Spanish that Works successfully. Instructors appreciate the classroom-ready, adaptable curriculum. Students like the friendly, hands-on approach and soon become comfortable speaking the language.

It's for you. You can easily customize Spanish that Works for You to fit the needs of your specific group or profession. The 16-hour course can be expanded for more in-depth learning, or streamlined for intensive introductory workshops. Additional instructor and student resources are available online.
