533 pgs. including index. Deep maroon HC book has gilt font on spine with a subtle embossed accents on both covers, and is in GOOD Shape. Extensive cover wear, worn corners, torn spine ends, page edges foxed, scattered foxing throughout. Front gutter hinge open to spine and barely holding, rear hinge stretched but not open. Some of the individual text sections are loose, but all are still attached. No missing pages. Light musty odor. No DJ. This is an extensive listing of Victorian Era Cattle diseases and period treatments. Would be of great value to an animal researcher, med student, or armchair animal lover who has a curiousity about historic animal diagnosis and treatment methods! Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
