The outside is in rough condition; there are dry spots to the cloth that look like bleach freckles all about the boards (see photo). There are small sized splits to the top edge of the first two endpapers. There is a name and date from 1911 written in pencil that can easily be erased from the first front free endpaper. There are additional mild penciling on the second front free endpaper that can easily be erased. Book is without other marks or writings, pages are fairly clean and book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book. SIZE: 6 x 9 ½ (approximately) PAGES: 600 pages. Fair/None dust jacket condition as issued. BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION: U. S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE BUREAU OF ANIMAL INDUSTRY. REVISED EDITION. There are many plates and illustrations included throughout the book.
