Special edition, being number 18 of 20 large paper copies thus. *Originally published in parts (within paper wrappers, and with a different title page), between 1793-95, this was the first work solely devoted to the botany of Australia. James Edward Smith was an eminent botanist, and a founder and first President of the Linnean Society.
