Chicago: Reilly & Lee, 1934. A fine copy with a spectacular pictorial cover in blue-gray cloth with a child's name on an endpaper and with decorated black and white endpapers and illustrations throughout by John R. Neill. A near-fine dustwrapper , with a yellow background, has slight wear at the spine ends but spectacular color illustrations on the front and rear panels (repeating that on the book's cover) This edition probably was published about 1949. Thompson wrote several continuations to the Oz series for the publisher after Baum's demise. Seller Inventory # 4992
