(Early German) SPRING FLOWERS. Guben: F. Fechner, circa 1840. 8vo - 6" x 8-13/16". Color pictorial stiff paper wrappers with a hand colored illustration on both the front and rear wrapper with minor age toning and a few scattered spots to the rear wrapper of a very lovely copy of the book. [16]pp. including wrappers. In addition to the hand colored wrappers, there are eight pages, printed one side only, with a short poem at the bottom of the page telling about some kind act that has been done, and an absolutely beautiful, highly detailed full page hand colored illustration at the top of the page illustrating the kind act. The hand colored illustrations each measure 4-1/2" x 5-3/4" and are really wonderful. There is very minor spotting on a couple of the pages for what is a really wonderful copy of this rare book. The condition of the book is NEAR FINE.
