In the tranquil world of the wetlands, two majestic Trumpeter Swans, Pen and Cob, embark on an inspiring journey to find the perfect place to build their nest. But, as they glide across the shimmering lake waters, they encounter unexpected challenges that test their determination.
 

As Pen begins her nesting ritual on a pile of wood, a beaver appears and shoos them away from his home. Undeterred, Pen and Cob move onward to discover a mud pile. Once again, they are chased away; this time by a muskrat who claims the pile as his den.
 

When Pen can't hold her eggs any longer, they find the perfect island. Together they gather reeds and bulrushes to build their own nest, proving that persistence and teamwork pay off.
