Illustrated with 16 color plates, 75 b&w plates and a large foldout map. 9.25" x 11.5". 260 pp. Brown cloth, spine darkened, some foxing in text, bookplate and owner inscription on the front endpapers. 260 pp + 26 page introduction and an 11 page "Note on the illustrations", both by Cook. The autobiography of a man obsessed with sport, Master of the Quorn, the Pytchley, etc., including foxhunting, breeding hounds, game bird shooting, steeplechasing, driving, racing, etc. Very good.
