SRAW RATS: by E.L.W

SRAW RATS is a sewer‑myth, a childhood echo, a story about the mildews that grow in the dark where no one is looking. It’s the tale of Fink, small, stubborn. And Staniel, the kestrel who shouldn’t be his friend but is anyway. Together they move through the tunnels beneath New York, a world of dripping pipes, whispered legends, and the long shadow of the butter knife blade called Longsword.

This isn’t a cute animal story. This isn’t a cartoon. This is a legend, the kind kids tell each other in hushed voices, the kind that feels too real to be made up.

Down in Sraw, every species has its own slurs, its own fears, its own history of blood and betrayal. The rats remember. The birds remember. The cats remember. And the water remembers most of all.

When a single feather lands in the sewer and sends a ripple through the tunnels, Fink is pulled into a story older than either of them... a story about loyalty and the cost of carrying a myth on your back.
