ON THAT STARRY NIGHT: AN ADVENT DEVOTIONAL

On That Starry Night is a unique and exquisite book introducing the birth of Jesus in a profound approach that focuses not only on Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph, the manger, and baby Jesus, but it also explains who Jesus is from the time God introduced him in the Garden of Eden until he returns to earth as King.

The book, written with little ones in mind, touches the hearts of adolescents and challenges teens and adults to embrace the truths presented so they can comprehend the events surrounding the birth of Jesus, learn the significance of his birth, and how he impacted culture and society through centuries.

I am excited to share the wonderment of the Person of Jesus and how that first Christmas night shouts His holy name and reveals His divine attributes.

• Families are drawn away from the distractions of the holidays to quiet moments of worship and praise.
• The five-week devotionals engage families in meeting the Babe of Bethlehem portrayed as the Predicted, Holy, Beneficial, Lowly, and Royal "God with us."
• Your family will journey through time as you meet composers of favorite Christmas carols and learn why they scribed the magnificent, moving words of each song.
• Scriptural readings follow the history of the songs, revealing attributes of Jesus seldom acknowledged in the Christmas story.
• Stories from my childhood encourage your family to reminisce and write your family's Christmas memory.
• Exquisite colored images draw the mind to fascinating visuals that embrace the focus of each Christmas carol, devotional, and story.
