Green, black decorated cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front, clean but slight edge-rubbing and spine lettering faded; 366 pp.+ 16 pp. pub.list, 5 (I make it) text figs; lower front end-gutter slightly opened but this now almost invisibly closed with archival tear repair tape, one internal gutter incipiently opening, central area of t.p. tanned, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Undated but clearly late 19th century, billed as Twelfth Edtion Improved and Enlarged with Clinical Directory. 10 cm x 12.5 cm.
