STORIES I REMEMBER: My Pilgrimage to Wisdom: A Spiritual Autobiography

262 pages wit 30 pages of photos. Ruslan's 70th birthday present to himself was a reflection on his half century in Subud. Dr. John D. Maguire, president emeritus of the Claremont University Consortium & Graduate Center--a Baptist minister, not a Subud member--had this to say about Ruslan's memoir: "C.S. Lewis titled his autobiography Surprised by Joy. Reynold Ruslan Feldman might have called his Opened by the Light. His 50-year practice of interfaith Subud provides the framework for his astonishingly detailed, utterly captivating recollected stories. His travels read like a novel: The transformation of a travelin' man into a pilgrim. His journey underscores how contemplation is the link between belief and practice and that experience in practice feeds the soul, trumping belief every time." Ruslan's memoir is a wonderful book to give to friends and relatives interested in learning more about Subud. Paperback in very good condition.
