He struggles with being seen as odd, because he loves to read, and he is a goner for the smell of fresh baked cardamom bread. So, he makes an adventure out of learning human magic, like maps and coordinates, following a recipes (included), writing in his journal, then learns his grandfather had written stories, gave them to Mormor, who sent them in letters to her granddaughters Darcy and Dawn, mere humans! Maybe friendship is not in his future, or maybe . . .

About the Author
Once she finished college, she married and moved with her young family, enjoying the thrill of living in different states.
She married again and loves being part of a big blended family, grandmother of twenty-one, with a growing number of greats.
Being the family historian gave her insights into different cultures and folklore along with family stories she has enjoyed writing about, many of which sparked the idea for these middle-grade books.
Her light-hearted stories are brought to life by her son/illustrator Ryan Francis Peirce and the comical website designed by middle son Jeffrey G. Peirce.

We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
