"The Story of Plymouth" is the history of Plymouth, England until 1950. It starts with Lammas Day in 1403 when the Corsairs of Sieur du Chastel arrived to pillage and burn the town. It continues on to look at the growth of the town and how Plymouth weathered the revolutions, civil wars, and both World Wars. Included are photographs, illustrations, appendices, maps (including a fold-out map of 1950 Plymouth), and an index. This copy is clean and solid.
