Perhaps the freshest voice in interior design of their generation, Studio Valle de Valle produces rooms that are a balancing act between whimsy and sophistication, between innovation and restraint. At once intimate and formal, Valle de Valle’s bespoke interiors are the equivalent of a well-loved Hermès handbag: the fine craftsmanship and custom details become more evident with time and use. This debut volume presents ten residential projects that articulate a distinctive balance between formality and ease. Spanning urban townhouses, private homes, and freestanding pavilions, each interior reflects a consistent sensibility rather than a fixed style. 

Spaces are animated through saturated, textured wall finishes, gently expressive patterns, and a careful interplay of custom and collected elements. Hand-carved wood furniture, plush upholstery, and built-in pieces anchor rooms with a sense of permanence, while commissioned artworks and collaborative objects introduce wit and visual rhythm. Together, these elements create environments that feel personal, layered, and deeply inhabitable.

The partnership of Giancarlo Valle and Jane Keltner de Valle, Studio Valle de Valle is an award-winning international design practice dedicated to creating spaces that are playful, studied, and unexpected. Studio Valle de Valle has been recognized by Architectural Digest AD100, and has been featured in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, and Vogue. Giancarlo received his Masters of Architecture from Princeton University. Jane is a veteran editor and the former style director at Architectural Digest. In 2024, Giancarlo and Jane opened Casa Valle, a gallery space that serves as an extension of their home, showcasing Giancarlo Valle's furniture collection alongside historic design.
