Volumes are uniformly bound in black cloth, with gilt lettering over green "labels" on spine, along with gilt rule to same. Cloth admits to light to medium wear and some soiling and minor spotting, in places, though none of this is terribly offensive. Several tiny worn through areas to cloth. Light soiling and a few minor spots to edges of pages. Paper admits to some tanning. Text clean. Bindings all sound. Dust-jackets admit to light to medium wear and light soiling in places, though certainly remain an attractive asset to this now fairly scarce printing of Toal. The jackets are covered in older but still perfectly functional mylar protective covers.
