Sacred Earth Rising Within: The Making of a Spiritual Ecologist in a Creative Cosmos

In today's digital age, humans find themselves increasingly disconnected from one another and from the natural world. As a result, reported rates of anxiety, depression, and loneliness have soared. But, what if the path back to meaning-and to a deeper sense of belonging in the universe-lies in reconnecting with nature and rediscovering our origin story? And if so, how can we apply these lessons to re-center our technologically driven lives?

Weaving together elements of memoir, essay, and poetry, K. Lauren De Boer's Sacred Earth Rising Within considers a path forward in this profoundly personal narrative. Born of De Boer's traumatic experience with the kidnapping and near murder of his sister, the author chronicles his own spiritual reckoning and healing as he offers a path for others struggling in their own lives. Readers will learn how to:

• Embrace gratitude
• Awaken a sense of awe and wonder
• Move through trauma and kickstart emotional recovery
• Cultivate a mindset an practice of spiritual ecology
• Nurture the connection between the self and the universe

Perfect for readers of Gabor Mate and Eckhart Tolle, Sacred Earth Rising Within offers a timely contribution to the search for meaning in a fractured, modern world.
