Sacred Santa Fe: Geomancy, Geometry, and Energetics of its Churches

Sacred Santa Fe is a book about geometry, geomancy, and the energetic qualities of four impressive churches. It takes a look at the masterpieces the mysterious European Master Builders left behind in Santa Fe. Most people don't understand what is involved in building a sacred place.

In order for a church or a cathedral to help people open up to greater spirituality, special qualities are needed. These remarkable features are explored in detail in this book. The Mission of San Miguel, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, and the Loretto Chapel were conceived and built according to a lost art. It is called the Art of the Master Builders, and thankfully, it is being revived today.

Based on the combination of rhythms of the sun and the energies of the earth, a unique geometry, which is called solar geometry, is manifested. This energetic solar geometry was used worldwide to create sacred places imbued with a spiritual ambiance. These places are full of balance, harmony, and spirituality. Santa Fe has an exceptional relationship with the sun, life, and spirituality found in the geometry of the sun and the Golden Proportion. We are happy to share this sacred relationship with you.

Karen and Dominique Susani are leading voices in sacred solar geometry, geomancy, and the energetic design of sacred spaces. Their combined expertise provides a thorough understanding of how ancient wisdom can shape and harmonize modern life.

Karen's path began with a B.A. in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, sparking an early fascination with European cathedrals. Her career as an Air Force pilot flying C-141 cargo planes, and later as a Pan American Airlines pilot, gave her rare access to many sacred sites that inspired her studies. Along the way, Karen explored healing arts, becoming an Interior Alignment practitioner under Denise Linn, a flower essence maker trained by Star Riparetti, a student of Biogeometry with Ibrahim Karim, and shamanic training with Pati Turner.
Dominique, a former professor of literature and philosophy, is an internationally recognized expert on earth energies, geomancy, and geobiology. For over 25 years, he has taught worldwide, sharing his extensive knowledge of harmonizing spaces and interpreting the solar geometry of sacred sites. His training includes studying with Henry Quiquandon, the father of French geobiology, and Raymond Montercy, who revived the art of the master builders. Dominique is especially known for designing harmonious homes and sacred structures, such as temples, labyrinths, chakra paths, and medicine wheels.

Their collaboration, now over two decades long, began when Karen joined Dominique in studying sacred solar geometry. Together, they reveal the sacred and solar-geometry secrets of the master builders worldwide, sharing the healing and energetic qualities of ancient sacred structures through books, classes, and tours.
