About the Author

Fr. Francis Martin holds the Cardinal Adam Maida Chair of Biblical Studies at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Author of sixty scholarly articles and eight books, Fr. Martin has also written many popular articles and spoken at over 400 conferences and retreats. Among his recent books are "The Feminist Question" and "The Fire in the Cloud." He is the editor of the "Acts of the Apostles" volumes in the Ancient Christian Commentary Series.
