Seventeen-year-old Evie Marie Edwards is at a major crossroad in her life with the power to affect her entire future. She wants to follow her heart and pursue a career in the fine arts that she hopes will eventually lead her to Paris. Firmly entrenched in her role as an obedient and loving daughter, Evie is torn between the life her parents want for her and the life she wants for herself. But when fate intercedes in an unimaginably tragic way and makes the impossible decision for her, Evie is suddenly thrust into an adult life she never wanted or appreciates. Will she ever find the peace and closure she so desperately seeks and needs? Sacred Tears is the tale of a young woman's journey of self-discovery as fate chooses her path and prompts her to discover the power of unconditional love.
