Safe at Home: Finding What You Never Lost

Consider one of the great mysteries of the New Testament: how can Mary Magdalene discover Jesus outside the tomb and mistake him for a gardener? How can two followers of Christ walk with him for miles, but not recognize him until he blesses and breaks bread? Stephen D. McConnell is a fourth generation Presbyterian pastor. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College in New Willington, Pennsylvania; his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey; and his Doctor of Letters from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

McConnell has spent his ordained ministry in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida. He is the author of Take Me to Aslan: C. S. Lewis and the Art of Trusting and When the Wind Is Against You.
