Jimmy Roseburg is about to have the season of his dreams. In an amazing turn of luck, he and his three best friends from travel all-stars will all play on the same team with the legendary coach Mr. Wells. He can't wait to lead the Dodgers to the league championship before making all-stars. Then he's thrown a real curveball when he finds out that it's no accident. Mr. Wells has selected his team for one specific purpose.

Dominic Lewis has no friends, lives in a dump, and is looked after by his mom's abusive boyfriend...who'd rather spend all day on the couch watching TV than taking care of kids. Gregory Saur has published numerous middle grade novels and prefers to be writing safe at home. He understands this is not always an option and many, especially younger people, do not have this luxury. Hopefully this will change. If not writing, he would prefer playing a sport, especially baseball, where he claims to be one of the best players EVER to never play the game. Don't believe him?
