The Saga of Me: Recovery is the Way Home

I used to think strength was measured by what a man could withstand. How much weight he could carry. How hard he could hit. How many times life could knock him down before he finally refused to get back up.I know differently now.I’ve lived a heavy life. Some of that weight was handed to me. Some of it I picked up myself. And some of it I carried for so long that I forgot there was ever another way to live. Then came the Forge. The Forge isn’t a place. It’s the moment when life gets hot enough that a man has to make a decision:Remain what he has always been—or allow the fire to change him. This is my story. Not the story of a perfect man.The story of a man who finally chose better.BORN IN THE FORGE.TEMPERED BY CHOICE.PROVEN BY ACTION.THE SAGA OF ME
