This 5.25 x 7.375 inch, 250 page hardcover book is a 1905 printing of this title as indicated on the copyright page - - with the first editions dating from 1899. This copy is in very good condition with the tan cloth covers featuring white lettering on the front panel - - with a military collage of drum, cannon, sword, gun, and a red-white-and-blue American flag, and with black titling on the spine with another colored flag - - all showing only a bit of time- and handling-wear with the corners showing wear but not worn through. The interior shows a gift inscription in ink on the ffep dated ?1911? and the interior text showing handling and reading wear but all about very good condition - - with no markings - - a touch of corner wear, and several dog-eared pages which have been flattened out. The frontispiece illustration and several other black-and-white pictures are present and the hinge at the title page and frontispiece is just beginning to crack. All in all the book is very good and features the storyline of the American hero Admiral Dewey as part of the plot-line of the text. 250 pages.
