Item description from seller

The Sailor’s World by Arthur Beiser. Ridge Press/Grosset and Dunlap, 1972. Fourth printing hardcover in very good condition; Clean boards with moderate rubbing to edges and corners and a few soiled spots. Light surface wear consistent with gentle use; no stains or major blemishes. Spine solid and fully legible; binding tight and square. Pages clean, unmarked, and only lightly age-toned at edges. Photo sections bright and intact. A well-preserved example of a large-format sailing reference volume. No Dust Jacket Many fourth printings from the early 1970s were issued with jackets, but it is common for them to be missing.(see photos) Arthur Beiser’s richly illustrated survey of the sailing world blends seamanship, yacht design, cruising lore, maritime history, and world-class photography into one of the most influential nautical books of its era. This is a clean, very good copy of the 1972 fourth printing.

Store description

My late wife and I spent a lot of time accumulating books, especially during COVID. With her gone, the books are a reminder of her. Hence, it's time for me to Turn the Page.
