Folio [16.25" by 20.5"]. 19 leaves with 309 interior fabric and trim samples mounted on thick boards. Beige cloth boards bound with two ring-binders, brass handle on spine, and two snaps to keep the front edge closed. Internally near fine, boards show some minor wear and spoling; very good. Incredible salesman's sample of this sample catalogue for interior design. Samples include cotton, blends, rayon, wool, and silk. Intended by the Riverdale Fabrics Company to turn every homemaker into an interior decorator, the catalogue showcases their mid-century patterns in a variety of colors that could be mixed and matched. A significant piece of textile history not located in Worldcat.
