Interesting curiosity, salesman's specimen book the same size as one of the 5 volumes of the set with various pages, colour plates (some folded) from the set. The rear board folds out to reveal the five volumes' spines and so demonstrate the binding. Rather unattractive black cover is rather worn with 'Specimen' gold blocked on the front, some bumping, rear hinge loose (the rear board is rather heavy), pages lightly tanned else textblock is in very good condition.
