The Salient, and Other Poems (Classic Reprint)

Excerpt from The Salient, and Other Poems

Hese poems, with one excep I tion, were written by me, an officer with the Canadian Forces, in the forward area, and I am encouraged to put them into book form, not on account of any literary merit, but because of a demand for copies, so great that it is beyond my power to supply them, from those who, being at the Front, appreciate the effort I have made to picture things as they really are. T. A. Girling.
