About the Author

Vicky Lindholm moved with her husband to Mayne Island, in December of 2004. She brought with her more than 20 years of writing experience. Salt Spring Island: Facts And Folklore is just one in a series of books of its kind to be written by this author. She reviewed over 50 existing pieces of literature and explored parks, beaches and wildlife in order to produce this historical view of Salt Spring. The book includes over 200 photos, past to present, most of which the author and her husband photographed themselves. Vicky currently lives and works on Vancouver Island.
